New medical research brings scientific evidence of the health benefits of the plant hormone abscisic acid.

These reports are always a delight to read. A new scientific study that (happily) confirms what we know or at least suspected already. In a roundabout way of course. Explaining things from a different angle.

And here it is:

“Mice who were fed a fatty diet developed inflammation of the nervous system similar to that which occurs in Alzheimer’s, according to a study by Jaume I University in Castelló de la Plana.

But when their diets were supplemented with the plant hormone abscisic acid, the damage was reversed, the Spanish research adds.”

So basically fat bad. Alzheimers, Diabetes Type 2 etc. Plants good. A different way of explaining what the plant-based doctors have been saying for years.
